BIO:
Dan Mawhinney is a cum laude graduate of the University of Maine and received his law degree from St. Louis University School of Law in 1978 where he was Editor in Chief of the Law School’s Symposium Journal. Prior to law school, Dan pursued graduate studies in American History at Boston College.
In 1978 Dan returned to his native Maine after starting his career as a civil litigator in St. Louis, Missouri. Dan became a partner at Thompson & Bowie, LLP in 1982. His practice focuses on civil litigation with a concentration on cases involving product liability, professional and commercial liability, trucking litigation, arbitration and mediation. Dan’s practice frequently involves Federal District Court practice and cases involving catastrophic injury and large property losses. His clients include national manufacturers, retailers, service providers and utilities.
Dan is an active member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel. Dan’s participation in the FDCC includes the chairmanship of the Federation Web Site Committee and Northern States Coordinator of FDCC State Representatives Committee. |
