BIO:
Victoria is a member of the municipal liability practice group. She represents a number of Maine Municipalities and the Maine Department of Transportation in a variety of litigation and appellate areas; including labor law and contract disputes, Section 1983 actions, eminent domain actions, boundary disputes, planning board and zoning board appeals, and negligence actions.
Victoria is also a member of the professional liability and civil litigation practice groups where she has represents psychologists, social workers, nurses, dentists, masons, carpenters, home owners, ans small businesses.
As a volunteer for the pro bono panel of the Immigrant Legal Advocacy Project (ILAP), Victoria represents individuals seeking political asylum.
Before embarking on her legal career, Victoria served as an Americorps volunteer in Puerto Rico. While in law school, she received a Bernstein Fellowship to serve as Law Clerk for the Honorable John B. Beliveau of the Lewiston District Court. She also served as a student attorney with the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic, and was selected as a prize oralist of the Moot Court Team. Prior to joining Thompson & Bowie, Victoria served as a Law Clerk in the Cumberland County and York County Superior Courts of the State of Maine.
Victoria takes great pride in her work, especially in developing a strong relationship with her clients. She is fluent in Spanish and has traveled extensively throughout South America. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and ultimate frisbee. |
