BIO:
Hillary joined Thompson & Bowie, LLP as an associate in 2007 and practices in the areas of insurance defense, professional liability and civil litigation. Immediately prior to joining the firm, Hillary completed a judicial clerkship with the Maine Superior Court.

Hillary graduated from Old Town High School in 1998 and subsequently attended Colby College, earning her B.A. in English, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa in 2002. She continued on to the University of Maine School of Law, where she earned her J.D., cum laude, in 2006. Following her first year of law school, Hillary was awarded a Bernstein Fellowship and spent the summer working with former Chief Judge Vendean Vafiades of the Maine District Court. During the remainder of her law school career, she served as the research editor for the Maine Law Review, as a legal writing instructor for first-year students and as a student attorney with the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic.
