BIO:
Tom joined Thompson & Bowie, LLP as an associate in 2008 and practices in the areas of civil litigation, insurance defense and municipal liability. He also served as a law clerk for the firm in 2007. Prior to attending law school, Tom worked in newspaper design and publishing.
Tom grew up in Auburn, Maine and graduated from Edward Little High School in 1996. In 2000, Tom received his B.A. magna cum laude in Electronic Media Production from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. He minored in Business Management. While at Syracuse, Tom was the head manager for the S.U. men's basketball team.
He graduated from the University of Maine School of Law in 2008 and was a receipient of the Pro Bono Publico Award for significant pro bono legal service during law school, spending the majority of his pro bono time volunteering at the Maine Civil Liberties Union. Tom also worked at the University of Maine School of Law's Intellectual Property Law Clinic. In the summer of 2005, he received a Bernstein Fellowship and served as law clerk to the Honorable Joseph H. Field of the West Bath District Court.
Tom enjoys fishing and basketball. |
