About:
Becky specializes in construction litigation and professional liability defense for design professionals, health care facilities and practitioners, and attorneys. She represents her clients in federal and state courts, in both jury and non jury cases, before arbitration, regulatory and administrative panels, and mediations. In addition to providing legal representation to professionals when sued, she continuously provides pre-claim legal guidance, risk management and contract review services to her clients.
Prior to private practice, Becky spent three years as a trial attorney with the Maine Department of Transportation and appeared before state and federal administrative bodies. Becky continues to represent the Maine Department of Transportation in eminent domain and other transportation and construction litigation.
Becky is a member of the Maine State Bar Association (Past President), Cumberland Bar Association (Past President), American Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, and the American Bar Association’s Forum on the Construction Industry (Steering Committee for Division One 2000-2004). Becky is a frequent guest speaker at many continuing educational programs for design professionals, dentists, health care providers and attorneys.
