About:

Ben's practice includes all aspects of civil litigation in state and federal court, as well as before administrative tribunals. Ben's work focuses on professional liability, civil rights and municipal liability, insurance defense, and immigration.

Before joining Thompson Bowie & Hatch, Ben served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Nancy Torresen, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Maine. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law in 2015. During law school, Ben was an Articles Editor for the Maine Law Review, a legal writing teaching assistant for first-year students, and a student attorney at the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic. Ben was also a student member of the Edward Thaxter Gignoux Inn of Court and the Maine Law Basketball Association. He is a recipient of the Faculty Significant Achievement Award as well as the Pro Bono Publico Award.

Prior to law school, Ben received his B.A. in political science from Providence College. He is from Scarborough and lives in the Portland area with his wife and daughter.
