About:
Hillary maintains a broad-based litigation practice, with a focus on commercial litigation, professional liability and insurance coverage matters. In addition to representing individuals, professionals, businesses and insurance companies in both state and federal court, she regularly counsels clients with regard to the navigation of complex, and often multi-dimensional, insurance questions. She has been named in the New England Super Lawyers Rising Stars since 2014.
Prior to joining the firm, Hillary completed a judicial clerkship with the Maine Superior Court, where she gained invaluable insight into the judicial process.
Hillary is a Maine native, and received her B.A. (summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) from Colby College as well as her J.D. (cum laude) from the University of Maine School of Law. While a student at Maine Law, she was the research editor for the Maine Law Review, a legal writing instructor for first-year students and a student attorney with the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic. Hillary currently resides in Portland.
