Sarah Yantakosol Gayer co-authored an article published by the American Bar Association entitled "Recent Developments in Admiralty and Maritime Law" published in the American Bar Association's Winter 2016 edition of the Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Law Journal. The article discusses noteworthy admiralty and maritime decisions issued by federal and state courts and reflects trends in the law such as examination of the marine insurance doctrine of uberrimae fidei; the awarding of punitive damages in maintenance and cure decisions post-Townsend; and developments regarding cruise related torts, maritime liens, piracy, salvage and Limitation of Liability actions.
